An Eclectic Like I am

I've always been an eclectic in my life and love for movies and music to the extent that they sometimes inspire my funny thoughts.

As a child, I thought 'Barrister' was only the legendary Fuji singer from Nigeria, West Africa. However, when I grew up, I discovered that 'Barrister' is another title for lawyers. 'Fuji', too, turns out to be another Japanese name and brand beyond just being a genre of music in Nigeria!

When The Mind Can't Be Imprisoned

An old farmer wrote a letter to his son in prison.

Dear son,

This year, I will not plant cassava and yam because I can’t cultivate the field.

I know if you were here you would have helped me.

Yours sincerely,

Your Dad.

The son replied his father.

Dear Dad,

Don’t even think of cultivating the field because that’s where I buried the money I stole.

Yours sincerely,

Your Son.

Upon reading this letter, the Police and Prison officials went early in the morning and dug the whole field in search of the money but nothing was found.

The next day, the son wrote his father again.

Dear Dad,

You can now plant your cassava and yam. This is the best I can do from here.

His Dad then replied.

My Dear Son,

Wow, you are too powerful indeed. Even in prison, you still command police men to work for me. I was surprised to see the Inspector General of Police and his team holding hoes and shovels and digging my farm. I will write to you when I want to harvest.
